Algoma, WI - Algoma School District breaks ground on expansion
ALGOMA, WI - Algoma School District has chosen Bayland Buildings, Inc., as the general contractor for their expansion and broke ground earlier this week. The expansion will include a new Community Center, Gymnasium and Tech Center that will be incorporated into the existing Middle School and High School.
The Algoma School District is located on the scenic shores of Lake Michigan and serves the city of Algoma and the surrounding rural areas. Formed over 125 years ago, our district has a long history of success. They are committed to offering the opportunity of success to each student and work diligently at realizing the potential of ALL students. As a result, innovation is a central theme that has broadened the capacity of our staff, students and community. Principal Nick Cochart, knows the expansion will not only benefit the students of Algoma but also the community, "Our new expansion allows us to continue this tradition of excellence and prepare future generations.
