RGL LOGISTICS ANNOUNCES APPLETON EXPANSION
APPLETON, WISCONSIN – Bayland Buildings, Inc. was selected as the Design-Build General Contractor for a new 450,000 SF warehouse facility for RGL Logistics located at 1601 S. Lynndale Ave., in Appleton. A groundbreaking ceremony to commemorate the facility took place on Friday, July 22nd. The new warehouse will include small office space for staff and 32 loading docks.
"The new 450,000 square foot building expansion in Appleton positions RGL at 1.7 million square feet just in Appleton and Neenah alone and is just the beginning. The warehouse world is changing. People are choosing the internet over big-box shopping. Supply shortages are forcing companies to stock up. RGL has adapted and remained ahead of the competition. Whether it's Freight brokerage, warehousing, third-party logistics co-packing, or cargo ships into our port. RGL does it all and we are growing!" says Ryan Scray, VP of Business Development.
The RGL Logistics journey began in 1903 when TM Leicht bought 2 horses and a wagon and started serving paper-making customers in Green Bay. From those humble beginnings, RGL has grown to over 350 teammates providing transportation and warehousing services operating out of over 4 million square feet of warehouse space in Green Bay, De Pere, Appleton, Menasha, and Neenah.
RGL plans to continue to nurture its current partnerships and looks forward to building new ones with local businesses. These partnerships have allowed continued growth and RGL will continue to service partners to the best of its ability. This added warehouse will allow customers to feel secure that they’re working with sustainable state-of-the-art facilities keeping both the people and products safe.
RGL will continue to focus on what is most important to them, continued growth on both an internal and a geographic level. The warehouse expansion is estimated to be completed in early spring 2023.
