Jet Air Growth Soars
GREEN BAY, WI - Jet Air Signature Select broke ground on a 34,000 square foot hangar. The hangar will feature aircraft storage space, office space and a complete aircraft and avionics installation and repair center.
"We have seen tremendous growth over the last several years," stated Al Timmerman, Jet Air CEO. "We built a new, state-of-the art facility in 2010 and within the first six months of operation, our hangar was already at capacity. Building this hangar is the next logical step in our development and offers what our clients have been requesting."
Timmerman says the goal for Jet Air has always been to create a service that fills a niche for charter flights and aircraft repair and refurbishment. "The fact that we have seen such growth over the last few years shows that the region supports the development of a strong transportation infrastructure. This new hangar is just another step in that direction."
Bayland Buildings, Inc., a design build general contractor based in Green Bay was chosen for this project which marks the second time Jet Air has worked with Bayland Buildings in the last 3 years. The hanger is scheduled to be completed by February of 2014 and Jet Air anticipates adding six new staff. For more information about Jet Air Signature Select, visit: jetairgroup.
