DOOR COUNTY'S ALPINE RESORT BEGINS REMODEL
Door County's hidden gem has selected Bayland Buildings as the general contractor. Construction and demolition have begun on The Alpine Resort located in Egg Harbor. The historic landmark was developed in 1921 and Bayland is dedicated to preserving its impressive characteristics. The 7,500 SF Phase I project entails remodeling the existing resort, bathrooms, dining area, and bar. Demolition and rebuild of the existing deck, creating new walkways to the renovated pier and an outdoor tent for weddings and endless event options. Project completion is slated for the early summer of 2022. Bayland and the Alpine’s new owner will be concurrently planning for the remaining reconstruction of the lodge, as a Phase II project, over this summer of 2022.
